It's a beautiful day for a war.As the mortal world slowly slips into chaos of the godly kind, Alexandria Andros must overcome a stunning defeat that has left her shaken and in doubt of their ability to end this war once and for all.And with all the obstacles between Alex and her happily-ever-after with the swoon worthy Aiden St. Delphi, they must now trust a deadly foe as they travel deep into the Underworld to release one of the most dangerous gods of all time.In the stunning, action-packed climax to the bestselling Covenant series, Alex must face a terrible choice: the destruction of everything and everyone she holds dear… or the end of herself.

In the final installment of the Covenant series, my heart is racing, I am positive I have started sweating a little bit, and tissues are at the ready because you never know what might happen. I am so glad that I took the chance with this series over Christmas break (yes I have mentioned this multiple times) and this just proves how much time I will purposefully put aside for anything JLA.

Alex has become a female character that I have grown to love and love to follow her along. She has gone through so much that she has that sense of being human inside of her. I know there are times where she is in situations she cannot deal with on her own but from the first book till now she has grown to become this badass character that to this day would never want to end up in a boxing match with.

The world is in chaos and Alex and everyone has to make a decision in releasing a god that might be the only chance of saving the world from the destruction that Lucien and Seth have caused due to their actions of world domination. There is so much action, heart break, kick-ass scenes that it seems impossible to want to put the book down to go to bed or even use the restroom. Yes I am being serious. Hold your bladder.

We mostly see Alex in this but what I loved was we saw a different part of Seth towards the end and even though most of this series is Alex having to make tough decisions, now it is time for Seth to make a tough decision of his own.

The ending was just perfect for me. I loved how it ended and even though I know there is a spin-off series to this original series, I would have been satisfied with the ending JLA wrote. I sometimes wonder how authors can write endings especially to something that they have been working on for years. It must be tough.

Overall I am glad that I have more JLA books waiting for me on my shelves at home because you can bet that I am already thinking of ways of adding them to my currently reading pile in the upcoming months. For those who haven’t read this series, I hope you give it a chance and see if this is a series you are glad you took a chance with, because for me I am so glad I did.

I give this book 5 souls!
